Trips go out on a first come first serve basis. We have a large fleet of boats, and our staff will work hard to make your wait as short as possible. If you have to wait to take a trip with us we have plenty of picnic tables at our outpost for you to use. The tables are there for your use for lunch or snacks, before and/or after your trip

Guided Trips Require reservations and run twice daily at 10:30AM and 1:30PM. The price of a guided trip is an additional $10.00 per person adult or child with a 4 person or $100.00 minimum.

What to wear

The Tuckasegee River a whitewater but family friendly river is warmer then the other float trip rivers in the area.

We suggest that you wear old tennis shoes or sandals, shorts, a T-shirt or bathing suit and a hat with a visor. For cool or rainy weather you may want to wear a windbreaker or a light sweater. On sunny days sunscreen and a water bottle are recommended. Trips go rain or shine. Call if you have questions. We have changing rooms and bottled water at the outfitters store.

The minimum weight requirement on the Tuckaseegee is 40 pounds or 4 years of age, unlike the Nantahala with it's 60 pound minimum. The entire family, including small children can enjoy a refreshing family outing. Single Kayak minimum weight is 90 pounds.
